2007 Volkswagen EOS Houston Texas TX
Reader’s Question:
I got a good deal to sell my VW Beetle here in Houston, Texas and add up some money for the VW EOS. I know that Volkswagen has some reputation when it comes to top downs, but is it true that the EOS is a femme type of vehicle?

People used to think that Volkswagen is just a car made for girls. For a long time, there had been a stereotyped idea about Volkswagen convertibles like the New Beetle and the Cabriolet being chick cars. The 2007 Volkswagen EOS had broken this hype. With its gutsy 2.0T and VR6 engine options, slick retractable hardtop and exterior design, the EOS is breaking the stereotype. Some VW patrons think that this may be androgynous. This absolutely can’t only be categorized as a chick car. I myself had a chance to own one before I moved to Houston, Texas. Mine was equipped with the 2.0T, 6-speed automatic transmission with DSG, Luxury Package, Navigation, Dynamic Audio Stereo and Park Distance Control. I had it negotiated for the price of $30,110 but went up to $38,465 with all those accessories I added.
I could say that as for a convertible type, the EOS is quite rigid although there is still noticeable flex and scowls during sharp turns and corners. With the top pulled up, the cabin wasn’t as silent as we expected. Certainly, when it comes to style, built and driving performance, this car is not just a girl thing. You may want to contact your local Volkswagen Dealer in Houston for a test drive. And if you decide to purchase one, it is not a chick flick but it will definitely give you one of a kind driving style. By the way, try checking the cool insurance quotation on this webpage, I found an affordable one.
