I have read all over Houston, Texas about the Volkswagen Passat. What are its improvements that are coming up in 2009?

The VW Passat from the German manufacturer was launched about several years ago and is said to be having major make over. The makeover was set to finish by 2009. Major reconstruction will include redesigned front end inspired by the upcoming Tiguan model. Reports say that Volkswagen is aiming to increase company sales and attract US market like Houston, Texas. The replacement of the engine somehow is expected to happen a bit earlier, may be about September.
