I also got my 2006 Volkswagen Jetta in a used car exhibit at a low price but also made some upgrades on some of its parts. I did not had a rough time doing upgrades on my cooling system because my uncle, who is a Volkswagen parts dealer in Houston, Texas helped me in determining which parts should go first. According to him, driving any vehicle with malfunctioning temperature sensors, controls and thermostats could keep me in great danger. So, I suggest that the first parts that you need to replace if that is an old Volkswagen car would be the gate keepers of the cooling system. You must always keep in mind that for the engine to properly work and perform, the car’s cooling system needs to do its function very well. One part that should also be included on your priority when looking for cooling system upgrade is the radiator. This plays an important task within the entire cooling system.
I found my uncle’s advise very useful and right now, I am still happy with the way my Volkswagen Etta performs. I was able to find the parts that I needed in most Volkswagen Parts Dealer. You may also check used Volkswagen car parts around your vicinity or check out the web. In doing so, you may even come across auto insurance carriers that offer different kinds of affordable used car insurance premiums.
Tips For Buying a Used Volkswagen Toureg
Reader’s Question:
I am a self confessed VW fan and I am already planning to buy a VW Toureg here in Houston, Texas. What advice can you give that I can take for buying a VW vehicle?

Whatever your preference is about Volkswagens, there are important steps that you should take before purchasing your Volkswagen from a Volkswagen Dealer in Houston, Texas. Here are some reminders on buying a Volkswagen car. The most important thing in buying a used VW car is by knowing what kind of driving does the previous owner has. Ask questions and details to the previous owners and driver. This way, you have the opportunity to know if the car had been in accidents or had major updates. Observe the attitude and character of the previous owner/driver. Check for indications on how the VW was treated. Ending up on a badly treated VW car may also mean spending too much for the car.
Next step is to get a mechanic do a thorough check on the car. The results can give you a heads up on costs and repairs or how long would the VW car would last on your possession. Also do some book work regardless if you buy your VW from a car dealer or private seller. Research on and about the general performance of the car. Read owners and consumer reviews online. This will give you ideas on what other same car owners think as well as experiences about the car. And lastly, get a good and reliable insurance premium. These should always come in handy before you step in to purchasing your own VW car.

The Houston Volkswagen Eos is a beautifully made (and beautifully named) convertible that I bought recently from a local Houston Volkswagen dealer. I’ve always wanted a convertible, but I’m sick of the sharp tiny features of the common ones. The Houston Volkswagen Eos is rounded and spacious.
It gets cold in the winter in Houston, too, which is why I like that the Houston Volkswagen Eos not only has a retractable hard top, but also has a sunroof that I can use when I only want to let a little bit of air in. The interior is wonderful, and the drive is great. I love to zip down the road in my Houston Volkswagen.
